Sidewalk Question: Where are you going for your summer vacation?

We are staying home because we are re-roofing the house and having the outside of the house painted. Why go for a vacation, this is the only place in California to live.

Lee and Louie Seligson

I am going to Italy and Greece on a school trip with Los Altos High School students. We will visit the coliseum and the Sistine Chapel. The art teacher, Mr. Wada, arranged this trip for about 10 students.

Jessica Klinke

We are going to France for about 10 days. I'm going with my family to help settle my sister in Lyon because she will be spending a year at the University of Lyons. After that we will sight see for the rest of the trip.

Jaimee Brand

We are going to the British Isles. We will stop in Bristol and be with our daughter for a week and then go to London to meet our other daughter and her husband. We hope to get to the theater often in London.

Ken and Ruth Weimer

We are going with the children. We will take them to T-Ball, swimming lessons, and day camp in Redwood Grove. Then when I am relaxing I am going to sleep whenever possible. If we can survive the summer and some remodeling we will try to travel to Mexico in the fall.

Felicity and Emily Oxendine

I am going to Jackson Hole in Wyoming. Leaving Los Altos in summer is silly because the weather is absolutely perfect . However, I am going to a wedding and will spend a few extra days in the mountains.
