Gustav Ebert

Gustav Ebert, a native of Bremerhaven, Germany, died May 22 in Mountain View. He was 88.

He was a 50-year member of Pipefitters Union Local #38 and a resident of Los Altos since 1948.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janette Ebert of Los Altos; children, William Ebert of Meridian, Idaho, Lynn Ross of Victoria, B.C., and James Ebert of San Jose; and siblings, Erich Ebert of Palo Alto and Hannah Lehe of Germany.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 El Camino Real West in Mountain View. Private inurnment has been held.

The family prefers that contributions be made to one's favorite charity.
