Ricks, Copeland

Kathleen Ann Ricks and Mark Edward Copeland recently announced their engagement and expect to be married Sept. 30 in the Bel Air Presbyterian Church in Bel Air. A reception is scheduled at the Marriott Hotel in Century City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cecil and Sharon Ricks of Fullerton. She is a graduate of Sanora High School and received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and a doctorate of philosophy from the University of Southern California. She is employed as the regional director of Outpatient Services for Community Psychiatric Centers.

The groom-to-be is the son of Bob and Jody Copeland of Palo Alto. He is a graduate of Los Altos High School and received a bachelor of arts degree from UCLA. He is employed as a certified financial planner for John Hancock Financial Services in Beverly Hills.

The couple plan to live in Southern California.
