'Picnic in the Plaza' concert series under way

Grab a lunch, pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the variety of music at Picnic in the Plaza Summer Concerts series for 1995. the first and third Thursdays of each month beginning Thursday at the Community Plaza, at the intersection of State and Main streets. The concerts are sponsored by Seville Properties and The Los Altos Village Association.

Citibank is providing seating for the concerts to the first 50 people that attend to get their early. Concerts begin at noon and run through 1 p.m.

Concerts will feature: Los Altan Mike Nortchutt, acoustic guitar, June 15; Tony Miles, Jamaican reggae, July 6; Zydeco Flames Duo, July 20; Los Altans Mellbrook Duo, classical flute and harp, Aug. 3; and String of Pearls, jazz and swing, Aug. 17.
