set for June 19 at Cuesta Park

The fifth annual Chefs Who Care "Picnic in the Park" will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m., June 19 in the barbecue area of Cuesta Park, on Cuesta Drive at Grant Road in Mountain View.

Armadillo Willy's will again host a gourmet picnic dinner to benefit the Community Kitchen program of the Community Services Agency.

The picnic will consist of oak and hickory smoked baby back ribs and chicken, Willy's barbecue beans, homemade potato salad and cole slaw, cornbread muffins and iced tea.

The price of the event is $15 and 50 percent of this price will be donated directly to the Community Kitchen.

Rick Rekoon, vocalist/acoustic guitarist, will be back to entertain with familiar folk music.

Because "Picnic in the Park" has become such a popular summer event, reservations must be made by calling 941-8649 before June 14. Armadillo Willy's Restaurant will not take reservations for this event.
