The wedding and reception took place aboard the historic ferryboat Skansonia on Lake Union in Seattle. The Reverend Morgan Silbaugh, rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Los Altos officiated. The bride is the daughter of Louise Spangler and the late Denny Spangler of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Los Altos High School and received her degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. She is employed as a software consultant for Aris in Seattle. The groom is the son of Marie and Nicholas O'Connell of Bellevue, Wash. He is a graduate of Western Washington University and earned a masters degree from Seattle Pacific University. He is a partner with Tri-Core Software Consultants in Seattle. After a honeymoon trip to Alaska, the couple make their home in Seattle. Lowe, Griess Tracey Lowe and Aaron Griess announced their engagement and plan to be married in Los Altos in June. The bridal party will represent nine states. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Lowe of Dubuque, Iowa. She is a graduate of Menlo School and College and earned a bachelor of science degree in Mathematics at Colorado College. She is employed as a High School mathematics teacher and women's assistant soccer coach at Loras College. The groom-to-be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gale T. Griess of Lincoln, Neb. He is a graduate of Colorado College and earned a bachelor and master of science at Loras College. He is employed as Assistant basketball coach at Loras College. The couple plan to live in Dubuque, Iowa. Owiesny, Schwamberger Cheryl Lynn Owiesny and Schad Eric Schwamberger announced their engagement and plan to be married July 29 in Ralston Hall at the College of Notre Dame in Belmont. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Juanita Owiesny of Los Altos. She is a graduate of St. Francis High School and received an associate degree in liberal arts at Foothill College and a bachelors in physical education at California State University at Chico. She is employed as a substitute teacher at Los Altos High School and Fremont Union High School District and is an assistant coach of women's soccer at De Anza College. The groom-to-be is the son of Bruce and Sharron Schwamberger of Millbury, Ohio. He is a graduate of Lake High School and is employed in the U.S. Navy and stationed at Whidby Island, Wash. The couple plan to live in the Bay Area. |
