Navy Airman Recruit Nathan T Price, son of Michael J. Price of Los Altos, recently completed the Basic Aviation Structural Mechanic Course.

Price is a 1994 graduate of Calaveras High School of San Andreas. He joined the Navy in August 1994.

Marine Lance Cpl. Troy M. DeVoe, son of Karen L. Claffey of Mountain View, recently departed for a six-month overseas deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Devoe is one of more than 6,000 sailors and Marines aboard the aircraft carrier. He joined the Marine Corp. in 1992.
