printer friendly version Print this story

Young people between the ages of eight to eighteen are invited to rent a booth at the Kid's Flea Market and Family Fun Day to be held on Saturday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the grounds of St. Luke's Chapel in the Hills on Duval Way in Los Altos Hills.

Other events on Family Fun Day are a church rummage sale, a cake-walk, face painting, and food and bake sales. Also scheduled is a 1 p.m. performance by Circus Soozee. The event is open to the community and free of charge.

The $2 registration fee for the Kids' Flea Market will be donated to the Community Services Agency of Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. Each participant will reserve a card table-sized space to sell unwanted toys, clothes, tapes, posters, skates, etc. (no food items) in an adult-supervised atmosphere. Participants may also sell craft items that they have made themselves. Scout troops and other young peoples clubs are invited to register as a group. Sellers are responsible for their own booth set-up and all money transactions that go on that day.

Due to space limitations, those wishing to participate in the Kids' Flea Market should pre-register before June 24. For more information and for a registration form, call the St. Luke's Chapel office at 941-6524.
