Heston Beaudoin

Heston Beaudoin, a Palo Alto dance teacher, died May 12.

Mr. Beaudoin and his wife, Flora, ran Beaudoin's Dance Studio as a team. His wife continues teaching there.

Mr. Beaudoin, a native of Utah, came to Palo Alto in 1923 with his family. While still in high school, he purchased 2 acres of land at the corner where the studio still operates.

He and his wife put on numerous shows for local civic organizations to help support various charities. They also choreographed dance for numerous organizations, including the Jr. Artist Guild. He was a member of the Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club, Father's Frolics and junior high school productions.

He is survived by his wife, Flora; and son, Ross Beaudoin of Independence, Mo.

The funeral was held May 15.
