Helen Margaret Rouse

Helen Margaret Rouse, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, died June 2 at the Linda Vista Care Center in Ashland, Ore. She was 79.

Mrs. Rouse lived in Los Altos for more than 50 years and was active in community affairs and the Presbyterian Church. She served as caregiver to several families throughout most her life. She moved to Ashland in 1994.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Rouse, and son, Steve Rouse, both of Ashland; daughter, Sue Smith of Cheney, Wash.; two brothers, Walter and Carl Matzner, both of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service was held June 9 at the Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto under the direction of the Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Directors in Ashland.
