Reed, Ballard

Heidi Shannon Reed and David John Ballard were married April 29 at the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. A reception was held at the same location following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jane and John Reed of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Los Altos High School and attended San Francisco State University and the New Zealand Film and Television Training School in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The groom is the son of Roger and Kate Ballard of Hikurangi, New Zealand. He received an honors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch. He is co-founder and president of New Zealand Bloom Ltd.

The couple live in Venice, Calif.
