The following Los Altos High Eagle athletes were recently honored at the school's spring sports awards ceremony:

Varsity High Letters - Peter Anton, Barry Taylor, Frank Vegh.

Blanket Awards (nine varsity seasons during their four years) - Muffie Binkley, Pamela Chu, Brittany Koury.

Central Coast Section Scholastic Awards - gymnastics, girls track.

Badminton - varsity doubles most valuable players, Sonia Kao-Candice Mei and Ling Liu-Melissa Wang; singles MVP, Hong T. Nguyen. Junior varsity MVPs, Stefaan Lodge, Josh Margulies, Anne Pai.

Baseball - varsity MVP, Dan Reese; most improved, Kevin Nelson; team award, Mihir Patel. Frosh/soph MVP, Casey Lopez; most inspirational, Rickey Pearson; coaches award, Clay Armistead.

Golf - Bob Baird Award (low medalist), Matt Treakle; Josh Freeman Award (most improved), Doug Dickson.

Gymnastics - varsity MVP, Lisa Maino; most inspirational, Natasha Williams; most improved, Emily Jen. JV MVP, Cassie Testa; most inspirational, Melissa Koh; most dedicated, Kelly Zuckerman.

Softball - varsity defense MVPs, Yma Garcia and Sabrina Quintero; offense MVP, Maya Garcia; MVPs, Kara Kanney and Robin Johnson. JV MVP, Larrissa Ringor; defense MVPs, Brooke Bowers and Kathryn Goines; team player, Arie Patterson.
