Reggae artist Tony Miles is scheduled to perform at the next Picnic In The Plaza concert, noon July 6 at the Community Plaza, corner of State and Main streets, in downtown Los Altos. The concert is among a series of noontime performances sponsored by the Los Altos Village Association and Seville Properties.

Miles also will be performing at the 16th Annual Arts & Wine festival on Saturday, July 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Stage as well.

Grab a lunch, pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the variety of music the first and third Thursdays of each month through August. Citibank is providing seating for the concerts to the first 50 people that attend so get there early. Subsequent performances include: July 20, Zydeco Flames; Aug. 3, Mellbrook Duo, classical flute and harp; and Aug.17, String of Pearls, jazz and swing.

"We're very pleased to be sponsoring the series again and what a wonderful line-up," says Jane Bigelow of Seville Properties. "Everyone come out and enjoy the variety of music and the summer sun."For more information, call The Los Altos Village Association at 949-5282.
