The bride is the daughter of Helen Marcelle Pennell and Calvin Harry Pennell, who is deceased. She resides in Paradise. The bride is a graduate of Fremont High School and De Anza College. She is employed as operations manager at Louisiana Territory Restaurant in San Jose.
The groom is the son of Dolores M. McKenzie, of Bellflower, and Robert H. McKenzie, who is deceased. He is a graduate of Wilson High School in Long Beach and is employed at Smart and Final Store in San Jose as an assistant manager.
The couple reside in Mountain View.
Olsen, McElhinney
Robin Laurel Olsen and Shawn Michael McElhinney recently announced their engagement and plan to be married in August 1996.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Olsen of Los Altos. She is a graduate of Los Altos High School and is currently a senior at Washington State University majoring in criminal justice and sociology. She is an intern with Pullman Police Department.
The groom-to-be is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McElhinney of Tacoma, Wash. He is a senior at Washington State University majoring in communications. He is an intern with Northwest Public television and radio.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kenneth and Dee Dee Pearce of Mountain View. She is a graduate of St. Francis High School and graduated from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in economics. She is currently a master's candidate in business administration at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA .
The groom-to-be is the son of Joan Noble of Montecito and Frederick Noble of Palm Desert. He is a graduate of Laguna Blanca High School in Santa Barbara and graduated from UCLA in political science and earned a doctor of jurisprudence from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He is currently employed at the Securities Exchange Commission in Los Angeles.

The bride is the daughter of Miguel and Gloria Jacob of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is a graduate of Culinary Institute of Americaand earned a bachelor's degree from McKenzie College of Arts in Brazil.
The groom is the son of Gene and Joan Senter of Palo Alto. He is a graduate of Gunn High School and earned a bachelor's degree in economics at University of California at Davis and a degree from the Culinary Institute of America. He is employed as the director of catering at Macarthur Park Restaurant in Palo Alto.
The couple plan to live in Mountain View.
