AISE seeks host families for foreign students

printer friendly version Print this story

The American Intercultural Student Exchange is seeking local families to host high school age foreign exchange students for the upcoming school year.

Each year, AISE places thousands of students with families across the United States. Families may select their students according to country, sex, age, religious beliefs, hobbies, grades and family background. Local area representatives are on hand to show student profiles, and help families select the student who best suits them.

Families provide students with a warm family atmosphere, and a place to sleep. All AISE students have their own spending money and medical insurance. Many families have selected their students for next year, and have already begun corresponding with them. If you are interested in reading some of the many student profiles AISE has on file, call 1-800-SIBLING.

AISE is a non-profit tax exemption educational organization which is dedicated to fostering international understanding. AISE has nearly 1,000 area representatives, 52 state coordinators and regional offices in Ohio, Kansas, Tennessee, Texas, Colorado, California, and Arkansas.
