Suspicious mail

July 12, 8:55 p.m., University Terrace: A professor at Stanford returned from vacation and found a manila mailer in his mailbox. He said his name was typed on it, and there was no return address.

Harassing phone calls

July 12, 9:55 p.m., El Camino Real: A store owner reported receiving harassing phone calls from an evicted tenant.
