Geneva M. Anaya

Geneva M. Anaya died July 26 at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. She was 70.

A native of Tennessee, and a former teacher with the County of San Mateo, she is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Anaya of Los Altos Hills. She is also survived by her daughter Gloria Borchers of San Jose, and her son Dennis Anaya of Atlanta, Geo.

She is also survived by siblings, James Harper of Tennessee, Jeanette Hamby of Missouri, Della Mae Stone of Michigan, Bonnie Watkins of North Carolina and Bea Guidotti, of Florida. She was a grandmother of two.

Services were held July 28 at Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, followed by interment at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.

The family prefers donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 554 Saratoga Ave., Santa Clara 95050.
