I'Lee B. Bailey

I'Lee B. Bailey died at her residence in Palo Alto July 22. She was 84.

A native of Washington, she was a member of the Menlo Country Club, a former member of the Burlingame Thurderbird Country Clubs and a resident of Smoke Tree Ranch at Palm Springs for 45 years.

She was the widow of the late Arthur E. Bailey, who died in 1979. She is survived by her children, Bea Herrick of Palo Alto, Arthur E. Bailey Jr. of Portland, Ore., and I'Lee Hooker of Tiburon. She was a grandmother of 10.

Services will be held Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at the Menlo Country Club, 2300 Woodside Road in Redwood City under the arrangements of the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries.

The family prefers donations to the Tibet Children's project, the Headlands Art Center or the charity of your choice.
