Los Altos Hills debutante graces Peninsula Ball

printer friendly version Print this story

Caroline Robbins Fuller, a Los Altos Hills resident, was one of 17 young women bowed as debutantes at the 35th annual Peninsula Ball on Aug. 5.

The ball benefited Family Service Mid-Peninsula, a non-profit agency that provides group and individual counseling and family therapy.

Held at the Hotel Sofitel in Redwood Shores, the debutantes danced the night away in white gowns.

The first dance was for fathers and daughters to the music of Walt Tolleson and his orchestra.

The Hotel Sofitel Ballroom was decorated with classical arches and latticed arched panels within a garden scene.

The chairman of this year's ball was Mrs. Quintard Gregory and the honorary chairman was Mrs. Frank Knowles, both of Menlo Park.

Fuller's escort, Graham Warren Stearns, a resident of Los Altos Hills, accompanied her at the ball.
