September KALEIDOSCOPE focuses on real estate

printer friendly version Print this story

The September edition of KALEIDOSCOPE (the statewide award winning television magazine for business) teaches viewers "The Ropes to Know and the Ropes to Skip when Buying or Selling a Home."

Glenn Quinn is the news anchor, host and segment producer for the month. He has researched the topic and has met with Seville Properties, Elliott Ames Mortgage Company, Eureka Bank, and Old Republic Title Insurance Company that share market information, tips for a successful sale or purchase of a home in Silicon Valley, what is an escrow, what about capital gains, the basis in a home and types of mortgages.

The program focuses on three different client types: the first-time buyer; the middle-range couple moving up to a more expensive home, and an older couple wishing to sell their big home and move into a smaller home.

Also part of the September show will be bicycle safety tips by Officer Matt Hartley of the Los Altos Police Department.

Kaleidoscope can be seen on Channel 16 in Los Altos and Cupertino, Sundays at 4 p.m. and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.

It can also be seen on Channel 18 in Los Altos on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
