The caption for last week's "Awesome athletes" photo should have read:

Kristy Larkin and Charles Ferguson were chosen most outstanding athletes at Cupertino Junior High for the 1994-95 school year.

Larkin, a Los Altos native, was named most valuable player of the volleyball, basketball and soccer teams. She will attend St. Francis High in the fall. Ferguson was selected MVP of the basketball team and broke the school's long and triple jump records.
