Peninsula Symphony plans high tea benefit

Peninsula Symphony Auxiliary will present a high tea fund-raiser, "Autumn Serenade," Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Los Altos United Methodist Church, 655 Magdalena Ave., Los Altos.

The benefit event features a flower arranging demonstration by Bonnie Chome, instructor at West Valley College, flower arrangement exhibits by auxiliary members, a boutique of tea related items, a raffle, a tea and refreshments.

The fund raiser is a benefit for the Peninsula Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra, in its 47th season, is under the direction of Mitchell Sardou Klein.

Members of the committee for the tea include: Vera Adams, food; Peggy Tondorf and Debbie Hollinsworth, invitations; Mary Esther Walton and Thelma Watkins, decorations; Trudi Malfatti, flower arrangements; Elvie Vargas and Elizabeth Antonio, boutique; Cary Kilmer and Helen Brown, publicity.
