Marina Yvonne Sigafoose died at her home in Fremont Tuesday Aug. 22. She was 40.

A native of Taiwan, she lived in Fremont for 13 years and previously lived in Los Altos. She was a graduate of Los Altos High School and the University of California at Davis.

Mrs. Sigafoose was a homemaker and member of the Evangelical Free church of Fremont.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years James Sigafoose of Fremont, a daughter, Patricia Sigafoose, and her parents, Arvid and Helen Maurine Hamer of Los Altos and her grandmother, Ruth Hamer of Los Altos. Mrs. Sigafoose was preceded in death by her brother Arvid Alan Hamer.

Funeral services were held Aug. 30 at Berge, Pappas, Smith Mortuary in Fremont. Inurnment was at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
