Stewart W. Harro

The Rev. Stewart W. Harro, a native of Harrisburg, Penn., died Sept., 8. He was 82.

A minister with the Presbyterian Church, he was pastor of Union Presbyterian Church of Los Altos for 25 years and a member of the Los Altos Rotary Club.

He is survived by: his wife, Virginia W. Harro of Los Gatos; daughters Gretchen Harro of Cameroon, Africa and Virginia Macnab of San Jose; and siblings Mary Schnaithman, Dorothy Hoeflich and Sara Germain of Pennsylvania, George Harro and Tom Harro of Illinois and Dr. Dale Harro of New York.

Services were held Sept. 13 at the Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos and private interment followed in Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto under the direction of the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries.
