Claude W. Hawkins Sr.

Claude W. Hawkins Sr., a native of Mina, Kan., died at Sunnyvale Manor Care Sept. 12. He was 98.

A printer with Cuneo Press and a veteran of World War I, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Los Altos.

He is survived by a daughter, Ann Boesenberg of Los Altos, and sons Claude Hawkins Jr. of San Leandro, and Irwin Hawkins of Michigan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Services were held at the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries and interment in Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.
