Turner appointed

The Los Altos Hills City Council last week appointed resident Thomas Turner, owner and president of Edwards Wood Products Inc., to the town's safety commission.

Council members said they were "delighted" to have Turner's expertise on the commission.

Esber appointed

The Los Altos Hills City Council re-appointed resident Peggy Esber to the community advisory committee to the Palo Alto School District.

The council lauded her efforts to help pass a recent bond measure and to establish busing for children in Los Altos Hills who attend Palo Alto schools.

Los Altos Hills sets priorities

The Los Altos Hills City Council last week received an updated goals and objectives report from City Manager Jeff Peterson, highlighting the most important goals for the town in 1995-96.

They include: Implementation of a data base system for the lots and homes in town; continuing to update the general plan; establishing a clear policy statement on public versus private streets; completing the remodeling of the town hall; and establishing a data base for the pathway system.
