Carranza, Hammer

Marilyn Carranza and Thomas Hammer were married Sept. 16 at Paradise Resort in Lake Tahoe. A reception was held in a private home. Their honeymoon was spent on Lake Tahoe.

The bride is the daughter of Chando and Margaret Carranza of Placerville. She is a graduate of Sunnyvale High School and De Anza College and is continuing her education at San Jose State University. She is employed with the Los Altos Town Crier.

The groom is the son of Edward and Judy Hammer of Glenview, Ill. He is a graduate of Glenview High School and attended San Jose State University. He is employed at Performance Ceilings Co.

The couple live in Los Gatos.
