Farren, Lavering
Lisa Farren and Todd Lavering were married July 16 at Springs of Life Fellowship in Sunnyvale. A reception followed in the Church Courtyard of the Sunnyvale Hilton.
The bride is the daughter of Carol Covarrubins of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Gerald Farren of Scotts Valley. She is a graduate of Rochester Adams High School in Rochester and received a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast communications and Spanish from Michigan State University. She is completing graduate studies at San Jose State University. She was a resident of Los Altos for three years, and served as a Young Life Teacher for students of Los Altos and Mountain View high schools.
The groom is the son of Gary and Kelly Lavering of Sunnyvale. He is a graduate of Homestead High School in Sunnyvale and received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from SJSU. He is employed as an electrical engineer at Intel.
The couple honeymooned on a Great Lakes Tour in Michigan and live in Mountain View.
