MVHS Homecoming

celebrated

Spartan fever reached an all-time high as Mountain View High School celebrated Homecoming the week of Oct. 9-13.

Students selected "Under the Big Top" as the theme for this year's Homecoming. Alumni and activities for the week included rally assemblies, the election of a Homecoming king and queen and a Homecoming dance.

One of the highlights was the Friday Homecoming parade along Castro Street in downtown Mountain View. The parade included more than 20 floats created and designed by students.

The parade also featured the award-winnng Spartan Marching Band, followed by the Homecoming court. Following the parade was the Homecoming game at 3 p.m. when the Spartans took to the field against Fremont High School.
