The renovations of the Bank of Los Altos' headquarters and retail branch are underway and are scheduled for completion Nov. 13.

"We're installing all new casework, new ATM, new night drop and a new data processing center; almost nothing will be left from the previous use," said David Rossi of Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc., the construction project manager. "The bank will have a large, open entryway, high ceiling and open mezzanine accessed by an elevator."

The interior of the two-story building, on the corner of El Camino Real and San Antonio Road, is being completely remodeled.

The Bank of Los Altos, formerly known as Foothill Bank, was acquired by a group of local investors in February from its Canadian owners. The new name was adopted to illustrate the bank's new focus on community banking and to emphasize its location in Los Altos.
