Chamber offers

business solutions

The Los Altos Chamber of Commerce will resume its monthly meetings of business owners and staff. Renamed "Business Solutions," the meetings are free and open to everyone in business, not just business owners.

The purpose of the meetings are to network with other businesses in Los Altos, share ideas, discuss common issues and problems, and learn solutions and marketing ideas.

You do not have to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce to attend. The meeting is scheduled for 7-9 a.m. Nov. 16 in room 2 at Hillview Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave., in Los Altos. For more information, call 948-1455.

Award given

to travel agency

All Horizon Rancho Travel beat out 1,000 agencies in a window display contest sponsored by Travel Age West celebrating September, "the Aloha month." First prize, which consisted of two airline trips to Hawaii, accommodations at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Kapalua and the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Mauna Lani, plus car rental, went to Rich Wacha, a corporate agent.
