The bride is the daughter of Betty Carpenter of Santa Cruz and the late Douglass Carpenter. The bride is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California at Davis and received her law degree from Stanford University. She is a technology licensing attorney with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto.
The groom is the son of Louis Sr. and Rosemary Dienes of Shrewsbury, N. J. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and received his law degree from Stanford University where he was an editor of the Stanford Law Review. He is a corporate lawyer with Baker & McKenzie in Palo Alto.
The couple lives in Los Altos.
