Volunteer service awards luncheon scheduled for Dec. 1

The 13th Los Altos/ Los Altos Hills Community Volunteer Service Awards luncheon will be held at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 1 at the Los Altos Youth Center in the Los Altos civic center complex, 1 N. San Antonio Road.

Volunteer awards from civic staffs, school districts, library districts and individuals from both cities will be recipients of the awards.

Awards are determined by a joint committee comprising five members from Los Altos and five from Los Altos Hills. Last year, 10 individuals were honored for their volunteering efforts.

Refreshments will start at 11:45 a.m., followed by lunch at 12:15 p.m. and award presentations at 12:45 p.m.
