Wedding announcements

Volm, Nantais Lisa Louise Volm and Scott Michael Nantais recently announced their engagement and intend to be married June 15, 1996, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. A reception is scheduled afterward at Michael's at Shoreline.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steve and Judy Volm of Los Altos. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego High School and received a bachelor in elementary education at Creighton University. She is employed at Montessori School of Los Altos.

The groom-to-be is the son of James Nantais, of Madison Heights, Mich., and Judith Thorsen of Franklin, N.C. He is a graduate of Riverview High School in Sarasota, Fla., and received a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering technology at Devry Institute of Technology. He is employed at Amdahl Corp.
