Adrian Raymond Hatfield

Adrian Raymond Hatfield, a native of Stockton, died Dec. 16. He was 82.

He attended Stanford University and married Margery Kernan in 1943 during World War II. His trade was a carpenter as well as an aerial photographer, and he founded Hatfield Aerial Surveys, based in Los Altos Hills for 24 years. After his retirement, he founded Hatfield Archival Photos.

He is survived by his wife, Margery of San Jose; six children, Ben Hatfield, Susan Oliver, Pat Hatfield, Peggy May, Mike Hatfield and Barbara Harper; 10 grandchildren; and brother, Orin Hatfield.

A memorial mass was held Dec. 20 at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in San Jose under the direction of Lima Family Sunnyvale Mortuary.

The family prefers donations by sent to Hannah Boys Center or Covenant House in memory of Adrian R. Hatfield, 346 W. 17th St., New York City, NY 10011-5002.
