Leona Koutny

Leona Koutny died Dec. 16 at El Camino Hospital. She was 79.

She was vice president of the Encore Club of Los Altos and St. Simon's Catholic Church. A homemaker for 50 years, she loved taking care of her home, tending to her plants and was an excellent bridge player.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Koutny; and daughters, Caryl Murphy of Pocatello, Idaho, and Cindy Koutny of Mountain View.

Services were held Dec. 20 at the Los Altos Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, and interment in Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.
