Through the generosity of donors, the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) in Mountain View currently has funds available for families in need of financial assistance. The school is offering tuition assistance to qualifying school-age students for private music lessons and classes in music and art. The school also offers work-study assistance to qualifying college and adult students.

"We are pleased that over the years we have been able to meet the needs of many families seeking music education," said Dr. Nicholas Isaacs, music director. "By offering tuition assistance, we have not only served students at all skill levels, but we have also identified students with outstanding musical talent.

Tuition assistance is currently available at the school due to funding from the Lila Wallace Reader's Digest Fund, Clarence E. Heller Charitable Foundation, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Peninsula Community Foundation, California Arts Council, City of Mountain View, and corporate and individual donors.

Families interested in applying for tuition assistance can call the school at 961-0342.
