Ricks, Copeland

Kathy Ricks and Mark Copeland were married Sept. 30 at Belaire Presbyterian Church in Belaire. A reception was held at the Marriott Hotel in Century City.

The bride is the daughter of Cecil and Sharon Ricks of Fullerton. She graduated from Sonora High School in Fullerton and received a bachelor's degree from University of California at Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. from University of Southern California in psychology. She is employed at CPC Psychiatric Hospital.in Santa Ana..

The groom is the son of Bob and Jody Copeland of Palo Alto. He is a graduate of Los Altos High School and received a bachelor's degree in political science at University of California at Los Angeles. He is employed as a certified financial planner with John Hancock Financial Services in Beverly Hills.

The couple live in El Secundo.
