Spring plant sale at Foothill College this Saturday

Orchids, herbs and house plants are a few of the items weekendgardeners can purchase at the Foothill College Spring Plant Salefrom 9:30 to 2 p.m. May 18 at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills.

Annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees will also be sold. Pricesrange between $2 and $20 per item. Proceeds from the plant salebenefit the Foothill College Ornamental Horticulture Trust Fund.

Buyers are encouraged to bring boxes or bags to carry plant purchases.The sale will be held in outdoor classrooms of the OrnamentalHorticulture Department. Parking Lot T provides easy access tothe sale location.

Visitors must bring four quarters to purchase a required campusparking permit.

Foothill College is located at 12345 El Monte Road in Los AltosHills. Interstate 280 provides easy access to the college.
