Separate tours for equestrians, pedestrians and bicyclists willboth begin from Westwind Barn, located on Altamont Road nearthe Ursula Road intersection. Included in the route will be Central Drive, the Artemas Ginzton Path, Bryne Park Lane, Altamont andByrne Preserve. The outings will begin at 10 a.m., returning to Westwind Barnby noon with refreshments provided by the Community RelationsCommittee. Clean-up time in Los Altos Hills The Town of Los Altos Hills will offer a clean-up day from 7:30a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday at five locations. They are: Town Hall Parking lot at 26379 Fremont Ave., in LosAltos Hills; Magdalena at Interstate 280; Foothill College ParkingLot A; Altamont Road at Black Mountain Road by Westwind barn;and Page Mill Road at Arastradero Road with a truck only. Allother locations have debris boxes and trucks. In order to be eligible to use the clean up service you willbe required to show your driver's license to a representativeof the Los Altos Garbage Company. K101 puts Los Altos on the air Radio station K101 FM will broadcast their Friday morning show5:30-10 a.m. June 7 from the Fourth Street Library Grille. Radiopersonality Don Bleu will broadcast live from the Grille and interviewmany Los Altos personalities. Included in the live "Tour De Bleu" broadcast willbe many Los Altos personalities explaining why they like Los Altosand why life is interesting for them. As a tie in with the "TourDe Bleu" broadcast, bankers and retailers will run promotionssuch as the Library Grille offering a trip for two to Hawaii andCitibank offering a $101 gift certificate to Home Depot duringthe broadcast. Andronico's Market is offering a picnic basket dinner for fourto one of the summer jazz concerts held outdoors at Rancho ShoppingCenter this summer, and Pollo Rey restaurant will be selling breakfastburritos for $1.01 during the broadcast. Olde Towne Band summer concerts Ye Olde Towne Band has scheduled a series of Sunday outdoor concertsat Shoup Park, on University Avenue in Los Altos. The concerts,which feature music ranging from marches to popular musicals,are set for 1:30-3:30 p.m. June 30, July 28, Aug. 25 and Sept.29. Admission is free. The band is sponsored by the Sertoma, Quota, Kiwanis and Rotaryclubs of Los Altos. Women's Aglow summer gathering Los Altos Women's Aglow invites visitors to attend a summer gathering,set for 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Los Altos Golf and CountryClub, 1560 Country Club Drive, Los Altos. Speaking will be Ingalill Vaim from Sweden.. Her talk deals withthe subject of a song she's recently written: "I am my Father'sDaughter." Vaim, author, songwriter and singer, has ministered in Russia,Estonia, Germany and the Scandinavian countries. Cost of the event, which includes a continental-style breakfast,is $10. Award luncheon changed to June 12 The Community Service Award luncheon hosted by the PeninsulaWest Valley Association of Realtors has been changed to June 12from the previous date of May 22. The event is still scheduledfor 11:30 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. at the Los Altos Country Club. Each year, the award is given to a resident of Los Altos andLos Altos Hills who has contributed in a meaningful way to thequality, spirit and character of our community. The highlightof the event is the presentation of the Community Service Awardto a resident recognized for outstanding voluntarism in the community. The cost for the luncheon is $25 and can be purchased at the PenWestoffice, 321 Second St., in Los Altos or by calling Julie Chancerelleat 949-9115. History House sponsors antique sale The Los Altos History House Museum is sponsoring a CaliforniaCountry Antique Americana Show and Sale 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June9 at the museum, located at 51 S. San Antonio Road, behind themain library. The show will feature the work of 50 American country dealers,including furniture, quilts, baskets, paintings and folk art.The event will also include picnic food and live country music.
