Honorees will receive their awards Sept. 28 at Hidden Villa. Organizers said the awards recognize national and local individuals whose lives and accomplishments demonstrate respect for human dignity and diversity and the protection of the natural environment. The local award honorees are Keith and Luella McFarland of Los Altos Hills. The honorees will be presented with a special photograph taken at Hidden Villa by Robert Glenn Ketchum, an internationally famous nature photographer. There also will be a special showing of seldom seen oils by renown American Impressionist painter, Frank Duveneck, and watercolors by his wife, Lizzie Boott Duveneck. Tickets for the event cost $125 per person of which $80 is a tax deductible contribution to Hidden Villa.
