Residents may learn more about the upcoming San Francisco opera season at a special preview with Ramona Rockway at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Los Altos Main Library, 13 S. San Antonio Rd., Los Altos.

The session will preview "Carmen," "Aida," "Salmone," "Tales of Hoffmann," and "Harvey Milk." You'll hear selections, descriptions of singing voices, and opera background.
