Foothill College offers ceramic samples

The Foothill Ceramics Sale will spotlight pieces of ceramics made by students enrolled in Foothill College ceramics courses 5:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 25 and 26 at the Foothill Middlefield Campus in Palo Alto, 4000 Middlefield Road. Parking is free.

A variety of ceramic items will be offered, including high-fired, lead-free bowls and mugs, ceramic jewelry, raku ware and sculpture.

Works for sale have been created by advanced, intermediate and beginning ceramics students. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Parents Without Partners local chapter

Single parents who would like to know others in the same position, talk over common problems and develop a fuller life for both you and your children can come to the new Los Altos-Mountain View chapter of Parents Without Partners.

PALY Music Boosters hold flea market

The Palo Alto High School Music Boosters flea market and craft fair is held on the second Saturday of each month. The next flea market is scheduled for this Sunday though from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Palo Alto High School. The flea market will be on the second Saturday of December. All proceeds go to the Palo Alto High School Music Department. For more information, call 324-3532.
