P.I.E. to hear insights from LAH author

Author and speaker Berit Kjos of Los Altos Hills, is scheduled to talk about the "international education system" at the Feb. 13 meeting of Parents Involved In Education (P.I.E.). The meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Los Altos, 625 Magdalena Ave., in room 620, Burkhart Hall.

Kjos will offer goals, vision, ideology and strategy involved in this system. She describes the system as socializing children for a collective society and training children to think as a group, not as an individual.

She is the author of "Brave New Schools," "Your Child and the New Age," "Under The Spell of Mother Earth," and "A Wardrobe From the King."

Kjos' radio and television appearances include "Crosstalk," "The 700 Club" and CBN Radio.

The public is invited to attend the meeting.
