A poster winner for 'United in Harmony'

Michael S. Caldwell of Mountain View High School has received a $100 prize as winner of the United in Harmony poster contest for 1997, sponsored by the United Way of Santa Clara County.

Two runners-up were Melissa Fry of Mountain View High School and Nikhil Gheewala of Los Altos High School. Both received $50 and a certificate of achievement.

The winning poster will be used to publicize "United in Harmony" a musical performance by the music departments of Mountain View and Los Altos high schools.

On March 20, under the auspices of the United Way Chapters of Los Altos and Mountain View, the music departments of Los Altos and Mountain View High Schools will join together to present a program of choral and instrumental music, titled "United in Harmony," at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts.
