Special to the Town Crier

In the last few online issues, we have been widening possibilities for readers who want more information about groups, organizations, or schools mentioned in articles.

While reading about Molly Ivins' speech to the Morning Forum in the Feb. 26 edition, did you wish you could read some of her recent columns?

If you read the online version of "Candid columnist Molly Ivins lets it fly at the Morning Forum," you could click on "Molly Ivins," and find yourself in the middle of the San Antonio Express-News online edition listing Molly's latest columns! (Respond 'cancel' to user name and password question).

Most links within articles and briefs are to local city, organization, business, and school Web pages.

These "hot links" don't happen automatically and are added to the articles one by one several hours after they are published, so if you are one of those readers who catch the online edition as soon as published on Tuesday afternoon, the links may not be there yet.

Do you find these extra links useful? Or not?

Send me an e-mail with your thoughts on this or other aspects of Los Altos Online.
