The event will be a two-night affair from 5:30-8 p.m. April 14 and 15. The restaurant specializes in pizzas, baked in an Italian wood-fired oven and daily baked sourdough. The Chefs Who Care dinner will begin with a Caesar salad and continue with one of the following entrees: barbecued chicken pizza with red onion, smoked gouda, mozzarella and cilantro; vegetarian fantasy with mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese artichokes, roasted red peppers, Kalamata olives and mozzarella; combination pizza with Italian sausage, salami, pepperoni, mushrooms and mozzarella; or rosemary chicken penne. The meal will conclude with a dessert specialty of the house: Heavenly Tiramisu. A non-alcoholic beverage is included. The price of the dinner is $16.50 for adults, $9 for children, and gratuity is not included. About half of the adult price, $8, will be donated to the Community Kitchen of the Community Services Agency. The kitchen provides meals for needy people. Reservations will be required for the Chefs Who Care dinner by calling 941-8649 by April 12. |
