Letters to the Editor

We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and thoughts of appreciation to the many well wishers who were concerned for our safety and welfare with offers of food, clothing, and shelter. We are especially indebted to the neighbors and friends on Beatrice Lane who gave us support and aid when it was really needed. We would also like to thank Barbara Packard (bless her!) who gave up her home to us, Rich Staskus, our new neighbor in the hills, and our Brunch Bunch group. Fire is a homeowner's worst nightmare and no one should have to go through it. Many of our friends, too numerous to name here, have come to our aid with supplies, helpful hands, offers of lodging, and sincere support. The College Board and the CORL Division at Hewlett-Packard also have extended their sympathy and generous support.
