Scholarship awards will be made to several teachers in the Whisman, Los Altos and Mountain View elementary districts to upgrade their math or science skills through funds raised at the January AAUW Bridge Bash. At the end of the evening, Tech Time, a program started by the local AAUW branch to encourage girls to understand technology and to improve their math and science skills, will be presented. De Anza hosts pow wow The 17th annual De Anza Pow Wow will take place Friday through Sunday at De Anza College. The event will feature American Indian arts and crafts, dancing, food booths and the American Indian Film Festival. Walk-a-thon for Littmann foundation The Littmann Education Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to raising academic standards, will hold its second annual walk-a-thon fund-raiser Saturday in conjunction with the families from the Montessori School of Los Altos, 201 Covington Road. For more information, call 948-2329. Volunteers needed for LAHS Grad Night Preparations are under way for Los Altos High School's 1997 Grad Night celebration, planned for the night of June 10.
