National Trails Day walk on LAH pathways

printer friendly version Print this story

The Town of Los Altos Hills and the town pathways committee invite local residents to a hike along the Adobe Creek Lodge Loop, scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in recognition of National Trails Day.

This is a chance to view scenic areas along recently renovated pathways and join in the collective spirit of a national event.

The walk will start from the corner of Moody Road and Rhus Ridge Road. Included in this route will be some hilly sections and wooded areas.

The outing starts at 10 a.m. and will end back at the starting point before noon. Refreshments will be provided.

The pathways committee is cooperating with the Digital Trails project in designing maps of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. These maps will be accessible on a Web site on the Internet in the near future, according to committee members.
